Sitting, watching the Mother Ganga in her incessant hurry, I seemed to hear the word interlaced in roar,
"Son, don't you see me; born here in the Himalayas, I rush down to the planes taking with me both life and
nourishment to all in my path. Fulfilment of any possession is in sharing it with others." I feld encouraged!

After his Mahasamadhi in 1993, Pujya Gurudev, as Swami Chinmayananda is fondly known passed the torch of his mission
and dream to Swami Tejomayananda. As head
of the Chinmaya Mission, Swami Tejomayananda is also the Chairman of Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT), which is
headquartered in Mumbai.

enriching the lives of thousands of people in India and abroad. TO GIVE MAXIMUM HAPPINESS TO THE MAXIMUM NUMBER FOR THE
MAXIMUM TIME IS OUR LIFE RELIGION is the motto of Chinmaya Mission, which aims at uplifting people beyond selfish
sectarian and parochial attitudes and activities, thus weaving them all into a seamless world nourished by the tenets
of Vedantic wisdom.
