1990   - Established and inaugurated - 18th February.
           - Launch of Home Study Sanskrit correspondence course.



1991    - All India Geeta chanting competition.
            - Foundation laid for 'Iswar Kripa', scholars residential block .
            - 'Chant Gita land Washington',
                    An International Gita Chanting Competition.



1992   - World Spiritual Camp, Port Blair, Andamans.
           - 'Vision of Vedanta'
                    Lecture Tour by Swami Chinmayananda in the United States.
           - Inauguration of Iswar Kripa.
           - Phase II of Iswar Kripa inaugurated by Swami Chinmayanandaji.



1993   - More residential blocks added.
           - 'Gita Vatika' - Computer version of the Holy Gita released.
           - Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayanandji becomes chairman of CIF.



1994   - National Gita Chanting Competition



1995   - Visit of H.H Sri. Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Pitham.



1997   - National Seminar on 'Sanskrit Research and Modern Challenges'
           - Inauguration of 'Eswar Kripa' Phase II,
                        Scholars residential blocks.
           - Inauguration of shrine in memory of Pujya Gurudev.



1998   - National Spiritual Camp by H.H Swami Tejomayananda.
           - Leadership Camp for the Youth.
           - 'Sastradhyayana Parampara' - Pandita Parishat.



1999   - CIF recognized as a Research Centre by Mahatma Gandhi
              University, Kerala.
           - Workshop on Research Methodology.
           - 'Pandita Parishad' – symposium of Sanskrit pandits.
           - Conference of All Kerala Chinmaya Mission workers.
           - release of 'Sastradhyayana Parampara Tat Pragatprakalpascha'
               on the Samadhi day of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda.
           - Orientation course on Indian Heritage in New Delhi.



2000   - Seminar on 'Sanskrit in Kerala'
