Dr. S.Sankaranarayanan
CIF’s in-charge of its critical edition project on the Brahmasutra Sankara Bhashya,
Dr. Sankaranarayanan is a well versed scholar in traditional and modern Sanskrit learning.
A Vedic Ghanapati, (the honored title given to a vedic scholar proficient in reciting the
Vedas in the customary manner), he is also a historian and professor of Sanskrit,
with valuable experience working on several projects of premier institutions of
national importance like Indian Council for Philosophical Research. Having served as
an officer in the Archeological Survey of India, he joined the Oriental Research Institute,
Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati as its director. Post-retirement, he associated with
the Adyar Library and research center, Chennai.
Dr. Sankaranarayanan has several books and research papers to his credit.

Dr.S.K.Lal
CIF’s in-charge of the Rishi Vani project, a collection of Vedic Mantras and passages having a
bearing on practical life and secular living, Dr. Lal is a retired professor of Vedic studies,
Center of Advanced Studies in Sanskrit, University of Poona. He was a student of
Dr. R.N. Dandekar, the doyen of Indic studies at Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute,
Poona. Dr. Lal was also associated with Vishveshwarananda Vishwabandhu institute of
indological research, Punjab University. He has authored many books and research articles.

Dr.B.S.Ramakrishna Rao
A traditional Sanskrit Vidvan who served as professor of Sanskrit and head of the Dept. of Sanskrit
at Bangalore’s National College, Dr. Rao did his doctorate from the Center of Advanced study in Sanskrit,
University of Poona. He is a versatile Sanskrit writer and columnist associated
with various Sanskrit institutions all over India. He is the
executive editor of Vishwa Bhasha, the Sanskrit periodical from the Vishwa Samskrita Pratishtanam,
Varanasi. He is serving as the secretary of Surasaraswati Sabha, Shringeri. He also served as
the director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Mexico.

Dr. Vishwanathan Namboodiri
Presently serving as a professor of Sanskrit at Catholicate College, Pattanimthitta, Kerala,
Dr. Namboodiri is also a recognized research guide in Sanskrit in the Mahatma Gandhi University,
Kerala. With a specialization in Sanskrit poetics and literature, he has to his credit
many published research articles.

The above mentioned four scholars are recognized as Guides for PhD students by the
Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, a bona fide University under UGC, New Delhi.
Apart from them, there are many more scholars attached to various universities and
research institutions who are helping us in advisory capacities.
