Chinmaya International Foundation is housed in the campus of Adi Sankara Nilayam, the maternal ancestral house of Sri Adi Sankara, the great Philosopher Saint and the exponent of Advaita Vedanta. The entire area of campus covers an area of 8.3 acres at a place called Veliyanad in Edakkattuvayal village, Ernakulam Dt., Kerala, India. It is situated off Peppathy 3kms before Piravom on Ernakulam - Piravom Road.

Ernakulam is well connected by bus to all the major cities of Kerala and a few cities of Tamilnadu like Coimbatore, Pollachi, Palani and Salem. You may get down at the Ernakulam Transport Stand. Local town buses available from here to CIF. Or ideally one may take a cab or an auto.
