3. Acharya-Sannidhi ( for the upkeep of Adi Sankara Nilayam )

Adi Sankara Nilayam, the premises of CIF, is privileged to be the very birthplace of Adi Sankaracharya. It is the home of Aryamba, the holy mother of the great Acharya. It is said that his upanayana or sacred thread ceremony was performed here at Adi Sankara Nilayam. It is the intention of CIF to preserve this sacred Shrine in all its purity and pristine glory. The traditional wooden carvings of the Naalu Kettu bear testimony to the 800-year-old Kerala architecture. Your donation of INR 100000 or USD 2500 will create a permanent fund for the upkeep and maintenance of this invaluable legacy.

4. Vidya-Prakasha ( for the publication of rare books and manuscripts )

Participate in the publication of rare books and unpublished ancient manuscripts by contributing INR 50000 or USD 1250 for one volume. Sponsors will be duly acknowledged.

5. Pandita-Sambhavana ( financial support for traditional scholars )

CIF's mission is to be a stellar center of research in Sanskrit and indology. Pujya Gurudev's dream was to make CIF the hub of research that will equally bring scholars in the East and West together, and take their research to enrich the life of seekers. Traditional pundits or scholars, well-versed in ancient Sanskrit lore, who will enable this process, need encouragement and financial support. Your donation of INR 25000 or USD 750 will help support the life and work of dedicated researchers

6. Shastra-Raksha ( for the library and information center )

Help in the collection of rare books, audios, videos, CDs, and other publications for the Information Centre. You may offer your donation in kind or INR 15000 or USD 375 in funds.

7. Grantha-Paripalana ( protection and preservation of rare manuscripts )

Help procure and protect rare and ancient manuscripts. Ancient manuscripts require continuous care through preservation treatments. We also digitalize and preserve manuscripts in CD format and bring out unpublished manuscripts. Contribute INR 5000 or USD 125 for the procurement, preservation, and digitalization of a manuscript.

9. Bhiksha

Offer Bhiksha to the Sanyasins and Brahmacharins, vidvans and scholars at Adi Sankara Nilayam. Needless to say, such offerings of food to the noble blesses one's family.


10. Temple Worship

Offer Puja online at the ancient temple at Adi Sankara Nilayam.


11. Anusaaraka ( Fusion of traditional Indian shastras and advanced modern technologies )

Anusaaraka is a Natural Language Processing (NLP) Research and Development project undertaken by CIF. It is a machine translation system with a difference, as it commits to providing the users an output which gives them access to the original text with 100% faithfulness. This is achieved by giving a layered output of how the given English text is translated to Hindi, online help and user-training.
