Morphological Analyzer is a device which gives analysis of a given word. A 'word' here refers to a string of characters separated by a space. This process can be described as similar to the understanding process that takes place in the human mind. The Morphological Analyzer takes one word at a time and produces its analysis as an output. Sanskrit is very rich in sandhi. A text with words joined together by sandhis makes the task of the Morphological Analyzer very complex. Hence, here we allow only sandhi-split text as an input. This Morphological Analyzer has been developed by Department of Sanskrit Studies, University of Hyderabad, under the guidance of Dr. Amba Kulkarni. Dr. Sheeba Sudheer, Deputy Director of CIFSS was also part of the team which assisted Dr. Amba Kulkarni. CIFSS thanks Dr. Amba Kulkarni, University of Hyderabad, for providing this Morphological Analyzer.
