In 1992, CIF organized a world spiritual Camp at Port Blair, Andamans from 17th to 24th July 1992. Later in the year CIF organized a University Lecture Tour by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji in the United States from 13th November to December 10th 1992. Swamiji addressed the students of the major Universities on the subject The Vision of Vedanta- its Logic and Practicality. The year also saw the renovation and refurnishing of the property in Melpazhur Mana, where CIF is housed, with a view to preserving its ancient links and heritage. The property has a main Nambudiri household, a house with a large pond, one disused temple and 3 small temples. Renovating such a large property and the 8.3 acre precincts on which it stands, was no mean task. Damaged wood was replaced and the dilapidated four winged structure which is traditionally called as Nallukettu, was renovated on the sprawling campus of Adi Sankara Nilayam until it was restored to its original shape and glory . The scholars residential block, Iswar Kripa, whose construction began in 1991, was completed and inaugurated in April 1992. On May 17th Shri Jayendra Saraswati, the pontiff of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham visited CIF and blessed the various activities.
