With the various activities to date, CIF’s mission to develop and encourage Indological studies has begun to gain concrete shape. Endorsing this came the appointment of Pujya Swami Advayananda as one of the Trustees and the resident Acharya at CIF.

The Vedanta Home Study Course was shifted from the 'Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT)' to CIF and the course is currently being redesigned, while an advanced course curriculum is also under preparation.

E-Vedanata Course was launched by Pujya Swami Tejomayanandaji, Head Chinmaya Mission World Wide on November 30th .Simultaneous efforts are being channeled to simplify and revive the Sanskrit Home Study Course.

Fresh academic projects of use to the common man like Mastering Matrimony – The Chinmaya Art Of Home Life which will be a guidance manual for householders and useful for marriage counseling is also on the design board. This manual will be based on the times tested values propounded by the Hindu scriptures..
