Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF) announces an online webinar on Atmabodha by Swami Advayananda. Atmabodha is a Prakarana Grantha (introductory text) of sixty eight verses, authored by Sri Adi Sankaracharya. Its uniqueness is that it provides complete clarity on all important Vedantic concepts with suitable examples, similes and metaphors and thus enables easy comprehension.

Essential text for Vedantic concept clarity
‘Atman’ means the Self and
'bodha' means knowledge. Thus, the title 'Atmabodha' denotes knowledge of the
Self, the all-pervading Consciousness.
The unique aspect of this prakarana-grantha, authored by Sri Adi Sankaracharya, is that it provides complete clarity on all important Vedantic concepts through suitable examples, similes and metaphors, and thus enables easy comprehension.
The text declares that if ignorance, and the misconceptions born from it, are the cause of human suffering, then knowledge alone is the solution – just as light alone can dispel darkness.

Webinar format: A series of 18 online sessions
(daily 2 sessions). The sessions will be screened Live from Chinmaya
International Foundation and the recordings will be available for the
registered participants to watch as per convenience.
Session recordings will be available up to one month after
the Webinar ends.
A doubt clarification session with Swami Advayanandaji will be held at
the end of the sessions for all the online participants.

Swami Advayananda was inspired by
the teachings of the visionary saint Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda and
joined Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai, the Gurukula of the Chinmaya Mission, at
a young age of 18. In 1992, on completing his Vedanta Course at the Sandeepany,
he was ordained into the dedicated spiritual life by Pujya Gurudev Swami
Chinmayananda. Later, in 2003, he was initiated into the sacred order of
sannyasa by Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda. Presently, Swamiji is serving as
the President of Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF) and as a Trustee of
Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (CVV).
