Introduction
This online camp will deal with the natural phenomena; mainly the light and water principle, that sustain and nourish all the beings. The day breaks and natural light comes through various solar forms including the early dawn. The Rigveda invokes Usha, her sister the night Ratri, Surya, Mitra, and Savitr with meaningful adjectives and in the most poetic manner. Parjanya or rain phenomenon is another life giving principle, which is praised by Atri. Aranyani or the forest deity that takes care of not only humans; but also the insects, birds and beasts is invoked in the Rigveda.
