Saddarshana, originally written by Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi in Tamil, was translated into Sanskrit by Sri Ganapati Muni. The text aids a seeker in Self-enquiry by sharing the insights of Bhagavan Ramana's experience of Reality and the enquiries that lead to it.
Saddarshana talks about fundamental enquiries such as “Can any knowledge be complete sans the Knowledge of the knower/subject?” Such thought provoking and deep questions impel one to dive within the depths of the Self and assist one to drop the superfluous conditionings that veil one’s true nature. It emphasises on the enquiry of the ‘I’, which is the source of the whole gamut of experiences.
Though written in simple and direct format giving profound Vedantic ideas without verbiage, deciphering and practising them is not easy without expert guidance. The present talks provide the foundation for one to grow verse by verse and contemplate on non-dual Vision of Truth.
